Our cellar door is situated high on east facing slope of the Naturaliste ridge overlooking Geographe Bay and Busselton. The original mud brick house and pottery with its beautiful and much photographed courtyard garden is at the centre of a complex of buildings including a bunker-like tasting facility, our winery, and bottling and barrel sheds, all linked by sprawling lawns and gardens overlooking the vineyard.
In the tasting room you'll find about thirty wines of which seven or eight are sweet. There are some interesting varietals that you are unlikely to find anywhere else including Petit Verdot, Malbec, Pinot Noir, Grenache, Nebbiolo and Sangiovese. There are a dozen red varietals and blends. A red and white are made without sulphur dioxide. Our spritzig pinks and whites are great favourites. Our fortifieds are made from authentic specialist grape varieties. Our Three Hills Estate wines from Karridale are a revelation.
Our cellar door is a busy and yet relaxed place. We know that you will enjoy our wine. Tasting is free.
Often it's the case that when families visit, someone has come for the wine and another to explore the pottery, or simply to enjoy the exquisite garden, whilst the kids are entertained in the natural playground.
We are open 10am-5pm. Disabled persons can access from the lower cellar entrance. We close Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Anzac Day morning.
We are close to Dunsborough in a fine art and restaurant precinct in the heart of the beach and surfing Mecca that is Dunsborough and Yallingup. You can download our map and guide to the Margaret River area here.
