Background

Viticultural & vinification notes		Winemakers comments
Vintage conditions	Mild ripening temperatures after a moderate summer with vintage in March and April.	Colour Nose Palate	Brilliant pale yellow. Attractive perfumed aroma of fruit salad, banana and bubblegum, with a hint of mandarin and lime. Is immediately sweet and fruity displaying nectarine, lime juice, tropical fruit and confectionary flavours. The palate is delicate and soft with a crisp acidity that gives the wine a clean dry finish.
Vineyard	Dunsborough and Karridale Hand pruned to rods Hand picked
Grape variety	Verdelho
Maturation	Wholly fermented in stainless steel and matured in bottle under screw cap to maintain freshness

I am from Perth WA. About three years ago some friends and I went down South and visited the Happs winery. We had a great time there not only
tasting the wines but the staff were so good and welcoming. I bought a few bottles (don't ask me what bought - Only that everything I tried I bought)
and gave a couple to my brother for christmas - he is from Sydney and now he keeps asking me to send them over to him when ever family is in Sydney
and his latest request is Late Picked Verdello!

my partner and I were holidaying in Dunsborough when we had to take one of the wine tours on offer which turned out to be a great day. It turned out
even better when the first winery we can to happened to be the best. It was my partner that picked out the late picked verdelho for us to try and it
was the pick of the day. the taste and aromas just mixed perfectly in my mouth, the sweetness of it was just right and blended well with the cheese
presented.
